SUPER MIDSIZED JET
EMBRAER
PRAETOR 500 / LEGACY 450
SEATS UP TO 8 PASSENGERS
A well rounded midsized cabin, with impressive range and luggage capacity.
The Legacy 450, revised to the Praetor 500, is Embraer’s entry aircraft into the Super Midsized category, and with eyes on Bombardier's Challenger 3500 and Gulfstream's G280, we think this aircraft is a worthy contender.

The cabin configuration enables you to have between 7 and 8 passengers, with a flat floor throughout and a cabin height of 1.82 metres - a shade shorter than the Challenger 3500 but perfectly fine to move around the cabin freely. It does have a shorter range than others in its category, but is still more than able to fulfil most European missions.
The refreshment area front is not as big as the larger Legacy 500, so it is worth checking with your Account Manager if a flight attendant service is provided (if desired). However what it does not have in range and cabin height, it does have in active turbulence reduction through its fly by wire systems. This is Embraer’s answer to reducing the bumps experienced in flight, something which shouldn’t be overlooked and may be just that one step ahead of its competitors. Cabin noise and pressure at altitude is also very low, reducing the effects of jet lag on longer missions, making you feel fresher on arrival.

We can't really fault Embraer on any aircraft they make as all have had success in the market, perhaps, if anything, the cabin may be that little bit shorter than desired, but the Praetor 600 is a very suitable alternative.
