ULTRA LONG RANGE
BOMBARDIER
GLOBAL 6500 SERIES
SEATS UP TO 14 PASSENGERS
Initially named the Global Express, Global XRS, Global 6000, and now the Global 6500 (that’s a lot of revisions), this model has been the benchmark of the Global family, manufactured by Bombardier.
The number of these aircraft in service has grown from strength to strength, and has really been the main rival to the likes of Gulfstream and Falcon, retaining the title of being the biggest private jet in production, until Gulfstream responded with the launch of the G650.

The cabin is generous, and has ample room for a forward lavatory, crew rest area and galley, all of which are enclosed from a three zone living arrangement (reception, dining and rear enclosed stateroom). At the rear is the master restroom leading to the luggage compartment.

Features on the newer models should include wi-fi, ambient lighting systems and lower cabin pressure, making passengers feel fresher on those longer journeys.

The clue is in the name, ‘Global’, meaning that routings from London to Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, Singapore or Beijing are possible directly, so there are not many places which may need a stop - London to Hawaii perhaps.

Operational costs on this aircraft are higher than some other Ultra Long Range aircraft, such as the Falcon 7X, so clients should recognise that there are other choices out there which may also be suitable.
