Despite later and bigger variants of the Citation Jet, we believe the CJ2 is perhaps the best all rounder model within the series. This typically 6 to 7 seat Light Executive Jet it is a noticeably longer version of the Citation M2 /CJ1, with a optional side facing seat opposite the door, club four seating in the centre and 2 additional forward facing seats at the rear, leading to a small enclosed lavatory. 

 

Most cabin seats on this aircraft should be able to recline and swivel, as well as extend to the centre of the cabin. The central aisle is also slightly dropped, increasing the cabin headroom. 

 

The CJ2 can typically take up to 8 small soft sided bags in the rear hold. It has a forward refreshment centre like all other models in the series, so you can expect a good selection of cold catering options, such as salads and sandwich platters. 

 

It's understandable why this model was so successful in Europe and perhaps the best Light Jet of its time, but it is only fair to point out that some earlier models may be starting to show their age, and in the forthcoming years it is probably more likely that the CJ3 and CJ4 will be more common place in the charter market.
