CITATION M2 / CJ1

The Citation M2, or earlier variant Citation CJ1 series, is the entry level aircraft for the popular Citation Jet ‘CJ’ Series (CJ1, CJ2, CJ3 and CJ4). This aircraft is a viable solution in Europe for flights in the region of up to 2.5 hours. Some internal flights may be subject to additional VAT, despite this concern this aircraft generally prices well, and as an example, for a 90 minute trip for 3 passengers, this would remain a good option.

Larger than the Citation Mustang, this aircraft has an enclosed rear lavatory and can seat up to 4 to 5 passengers (depending on the layout configuration). Notably there is a small drop down central aisle running through the aircraft from the cockpit to the lavatory.  

If you may feel it is a little small for your needs, the Citation CJ2, CJ3 and latest CJ4 are also good options, all with similar cabin height and width dimensions, and have a good balance of comfort, cruising speed and economy.
