Perhaps the smallest twin engine Very Light Jet in service, the Eclipse 500 is designed to carry up to 3 passengers for short legs, typically less than 90 minutes. Its slow approach speeds gives this aircraft great versatility.

It is limited on the services it can provide on board, with no lavatory or large refreshment centre, but for short hops such as London to the Channel Islands it could well suit a client simply needing to get from A to B. Being the smallest within the Very Light Jet category, other alternatives such as the King Air 260, Citation Mustang, HondaJet or Phenom 100 may also be suitable.
