SUPER MIDSIZED JET
EMBRAER
PRAETOR 600 / LEGACY 500
SEATS UP TO 9 PASSENGERS
An interesting feature advertised by Embraer is its ability to reduce the effects of turbulence.
Since the halting production of the Embraer Legacy 650, the Praetor 600 (initially the Legacy 500) is now the flagship of Embraer’s private aviation division. A longer version of the Praetor 500, this aircraft has everything needed to make it a fantastic Super Midsized aircraft.

The cabin configuration enables you to have between 8 and 9 passengers, depending if the aircraft is fitted with a rear 3 seat sofa. It has a flat floor throughout and a cabin height of 1.82 metres. What makes this model different from the Praetor 500 is its larger enclosed galley at the front, enabling an enhanced in-flight cabin service. Also with the aircraft being a fly-by-wire design, it has an active turbulence reduction system to reduce the bumps experienced in flight. Something nervous flyers can definitely appreciate.
Cabin noise and pressure at altitude are also very low, reducing the effects of jet lag on longer missions, making you feel fresher on arrival. Flights from the East Coast US to UK are theoretically within commercial reach (though a stop would likely be needed for London to the US), and we would say it fares well for intercontinental European flying.
Luggage wise, this aircraft is generously capable of taking the same load as many Heavy Jets, now of a trademark factor of Embraer.
