In a bold move away from the G550, Gulfstream launched the G650 which was a clean sheet design, featuring larger windows and a more spacious and notably wider cabin, feeling more bulbous than tubular. To perhaps match its rival, the Bombardier Global 6000, the aircraft has seen much success.
The seating arrangement remains similar with a three zone configuration and enclosed stateroom towards the rear. Gulfstream have also made bigger leaps with the technologies and handling, electing for side stick fly by wire controls, lower cabin pressure and 100% fresh air system, which all improve the flight comfort, so for those longer missions this aircraft is designed to perform.

Trips from London to the Far East should be manageable directly, as the G650 does further mitigate the effects of strong headwinds adding the requirement of a fuel stop. Comparatively the Falcon 8X and even the 7X may also be options not to rule out, as well as possibly bringing some extra economies.
OVERVIEW OF THE GULFSTREAM G650
The G650 replaced the world renowned G550. This clean sheet design gives passengers that extra width in the cabin whilst keeping the iconic Gulfstream look.
