VERY LIGHT JET

HONDA JET
SEATS UP TO 4 PASSENGERS
As a latecomer to the VJL market, it's impossible not to recognise this aircraft on the ramp, due to its trademark wing-mounted engines.
This leads us to our first point - given nobody else has gone for such a radical design, why bother? The short answer is that the position of the engines now provides greater luggage space at the rear, and lower noise in the cabin during flight.
Certainly we can say that as a Very Light Jet it does feel roomier to other aircraft within its category. The Honda Jet can accommodate 4 passengers in the main cabin, and has a small rear lavatory and refreshment centre in the front. We especially like the subtle design detail that includes two small skylight windows in the rear lavatory, drawing in ambient light to all parts of the cabin.
Efficiency wise, it has a competitive fuel burn to that of its rivals, the Citation Mustang and the Phenom 100, so in fair market conditions this shouldn’t be the most expensive option.
It still feels like a relative newbie in the market, so it would be difficult to say there is extensive availability for this aircraft model, most likely being a key consideration Honda is reviewing in its goal to expand.
OVERVIEW OF THE HONDA JET
For a Very Light Jet, this aircraft is very well proportioned with a fair sized baggage hold.
