PILATUS PC12
SEATS UP TO 8 PASSENGERS
The Pilatus PC12 has become one of the most dominant single engine Turboprops in the market.
Arguably the main competitor to the King Air series, the PC12 is designed to carry between 6 to 8 passengers. In terms of charter rates between these two aircraft, the PC12, being a single engine Turboprop, does clinch it as having a single engine keeps the fuel burn and maintenance costs lower than a dual engine aircraft.
However it is also worth considering that being a single engine aircraft, the flight time may be slower, increasing the overall flight time and thus the economies may be counter intuitive - perhaps a consideration on flights greater than 1000 km where a Light Jet may be somewhat faster.

One significant advantage is its ability to take off and land at short runways, which does give the aircraft a greater choice of airports and overall better versatility.
OVERVIEW OF THE PILATUS PC12
The reliability of the PC12 is well respected, and we believe it will remain a dominant Turboprop option for many years to come.
